Manuscript Submission

The journal requires manuscripts to be submitted in a fixed format. Before submitting, please prepare the following:

Manuscript

An editable Word file containing the full text, figures, and tables. The structure should include:

  • Title
  • Author information
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Main text (Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion)
  • Author contributions
  • Funding
  • References

Manuscripts that deviate from the template will be returned for revision. Manuscripts may also be returned if the English quality prevents proper evaluation.

Cover Letter

A PDF summarizing the significance of the study and confirming compliance with the submission policy.

Figures

High-resolution images (>300 ppi) in JPEG, PNG, or TIFF formats.

Supplementary Materials

As required, including data availability statements, conflict of interest disclosures, permission to reprint materials, ethical approval statements, patient consent statements, and clinical trial registration. These documents are essential for compliance with ethical publishing standards.

Confirmation of Receipt and Evaluation

All corresponding authors will receive an email confirming successful submission.

Appeals

Authors may appeal an editorial decision if they believe it resulted from a significant misunderstanding of the manuscript, a failure to recognize its contribution, or concerns about how it was handled. Disagreement about novelty or significance alone is not grounds for appeal. Appeals should be sent to the editorial office by email, citing the manuscript ID number and providing a clear justification. The Editor-in-Chief's decision on appeals is final.

Manuscript Requirements

Formatting

Times New Roman, 10.5 pt, 1.5 line spacing.

Language

Manuscripts must be written in English with correct grammar and usage. Authors who require assistance may use professional language services. INSTI Publishing offers optional editing services for grammar, formatting, translation, and figure preparation.

Title

Clearly describe the study using relevant keywords. Avoid non-descriptive or promotional titles, references, formulas, or symbols. Capitalize the first letter of each significant word.

Authors

List each author's first name, middle initial, and last name. Use an asterisk (*) to identify the corresponding author.

Affiliations

Provide full institutional details, including department, university/company, city, and country. Institutional email addresses are required for corresponding authors.

Keywords

Provide 3-6 relevant keywords.

Abstract

Maximum 250 words, written in impersonal style (avoid "we"). Abbreviations must be defined at first use. No citations.

Main Text

Include Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. Other section structures may be acceptable if appropriate.

Author Contributions

Clearly state contributions using the CRediT taxonomy.

Acknowledgments

List funding sources (with grant numbers) and acknowledge contributions from individuals who do not meet authorship criteria.

Conflicts of Interest

All authors must declare conflicts of interest. If none, state: "The authors declare no conflicts of interest."

References

Use numbered citations in square brackets [ ]. References must be numbered in the order cited. A .csl citation style file (Right click and then download the link file) is provided for convenience. Examples:

  • Journal: [1] R. Montague, J. Capulet, M. Macduff. "A MS word template for the journal of X-Disciplinarity." Adv. Mater. 2024, 16, 11, 190000.

Tables

Provide concise titles and use only three horizontal lines (head, neck, foot). Avoid tables with fewer than three rows or columns. Footnotes should use lowercase Roman letters. Number tables in order of appearance.
