To support authors in preparing manuscripts that meet international publishing standards, INSTI Publishing offers a range of professional language services. These services are independent from the peer review and editorial decision-making process of X-Disciplinarity or any other INSTI journal. Using these services does not influence the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts.

 

Format Editing

Manuscripts are adapted to comply with strict journal formatting requirements. Authors may submit free-form manuscripts, and our editorial staff will prepare them according to the journal’s submission standards. Fees are calculated based on word count.

 

Grammar Editing

Proofreading and sentence-by-sentence correction of typographical, grammatical, and spelling errors are provided. This ensures clarity and readability without altering the scientific meaning. Pricing is based on word count.

 

Scientific Editing

Manuscripts are carefully reviewed to improve clarity, consistency, and scientific presentation. This service helps authors strengthen the readability and overall presentation of their work in line with academic publishing standards. Pricing is based on both word and page count.

 

Pricing Guideline

As a reference, Format Editing is typically priced at USD $300 per 2,500 words, while Grammar Editing is typically priced at USD $600 per 2,500 words. Final prices may vary depending on the length and complexity of the manuscript.

Scientific Editing includes advanced content review as well as additional services such as figure preparation, reference checking, and (where applicable) translation support. Comprehensive scientific editing starts at USD $1,800 for manuscripts of up to 5,500 words. Longer manuscripts will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.

All authors will receive a customized price quote before confirmation of any service.

 

Process and Turnaround

Typical turnaround time ranges from 7–14 business days, depending on the service level and manuscript length. Rush services may be available upon request at an additional cost.

All manuscripts submitted for language services are treated as strictly confidential. Editors and staff involved in the service operate under the same confidentiality standards as the peer review process.
